Dear Tramuntana Flow guest,
I would like to introduce myself and welcome you to TRAMUNTANA FLOW – LA CASA DE LA CALMA. My name is Angela and I will be your host during your stay. Tramuntana Flow is not a hotel, it is a HOME and I really hope you feel at home during your stay. My wish is that you spend a wonderful time here, where you can retreat yourself and honour your needs, while you have an unforgettable time.
In order to familiarise you with the space I have summarised some important information.

USEFUL INFORMATION & GUIDELINES

If you are without group transportation, we suggest taking a taxi from the airport. The cost is about 25 Euro. We are located at:
Camí de N’Olesa 63
07141 Sa Cabaneta – Marratxí
Mallorca – Spain
There is free street parking in front of and near Tramuntana Flow.
Note: Please do not stop in the driveway beside our property as it is a shared alleyway.
Check-in time is 5 p.m.. If you arrive early and would like to drop your luggage ahead of time, email or text me at +34 630 257 557.
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate early check-in times as we will be cleaning the property in preparation for your stay.
Likewise, we will need to ensure check-out times are no later than 10 a.m. so we may clean the rooms for our next guests.
We know this can be challenging, but we thank you for your promptness and your understanding.
We take great pride in creating a peaceful sanctuary for our guests and neighbours.
Although we want our guests to feel at home, we appreciate everyone’s effort to maintain a quiet atmosphere on our grounds, especially during siesta ( 2- 4 p.m.) and after 10 p.m.
We have dedicated our Pergola on the grass as a silent meditation space.
The Yoga Shala on the other hand, is a perfect place for other activities like singing and dancing should you be so inspired!
We have a very sensitive plumbing system and ask that only toilet paper makes its way into our toilets.
It is very important that everything else is placed in the garbage receptacle.
Thank you for not creating a plumbing nightmare!
As we are located in a public area, our front door remains locked at all times.
We have provided a lockbox outside the main doors to allow access in and out of the property to our guests.
The code will be shared on arrival.
We encourage everyone to ensure the doors are locked and windows are closed when you leave the main house (even when you are in other areas of our large property.)
We also provide keys for individual rooms. (Please keep track of your key as replacement keys cost 50 Euro.)
For the privacy of our guests, only registered visitors are invited onto the property. Please contact us if you would like to request access for day visitors.
There is no daily cleaning, so we encourage everyone to use the recycling bins and help keep our space as clean and tidy as possible.
If you feel the need to move furniture, we appreciate you returning everything to its original location for our next guests to enjoy.
We appreciate your respect of our heritage property. If an accident happens, please report it to us. Negligent damages will be charged.
For reasons of fire safety, we don’t allow any candle or incense burning in any of the accommodations. We do allow the burning of candles and incense for ritual or teaching purposes in the classrooms, however, only if the flame is attended to at all times.
SMOKING / ALCOHOL / ILLICIT DRUGS
We are proud to maintain a smoke -free environment for our guests. No smoking is allowed anywhere on the property.
If you smoke, please do so outside the property.
We encourage responsible alcohol consumption.
No drugs are allowed on the property.
Water is a precious resource on Mallorca.
We encourage our guests to contribute to its preservation by restricting their showers and use of towels.
For this reason we provide one set of towels to each guest.
Extra towels are 10 Euro each.
- Pool-towel rental —> 10€
- Extra bathroom towels —> 10€ per set
- Extra bed-linens —> 15€ per set
Any extra spending while being at Tramuntana Flow (extra towels, expresso coffee, massages …) will be paid cash. Therefore we recommend to bring some cash from home. There is one ATM machine in Sa Cabaneta, which is a 10-minute walk from Tramuntana Flow.
Guests used to buy water plastic bottles and we were creating a lot of plastic waste. To be more sustainable we have installed several drinking water taps that pass through an osmosis filtering system. Water is included in the rent and is accessible 24 hours a day. We encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle or buy ours.
We are proud to offer you a salty water pool with very few chemicals. Do not apply any lotion/cream on the body before entering the pool. We kindly ask you shower off before enjoying the pool. No Glassware is permitted in the pool area. Guests swim at their own risk and Tramuntana Flow will not be responsible for any injuries while using the pool.
A Tourist Tax (currently 2€ per night) was introduced on 1st of July 2016. The funds will go towards protecting natural resources and will ensure sustainable tourism, according to authorities. If you wish to have more information, please check the following link: LPG CAIB 2018
Our head chef will be happy to address any concerns about food.
